Instagram has become the favorite platform of many of us, and big brands around the world to connect with others. From the basics like serving as a window to share our lives,  to even work as an extension of our business, Instagram help us to reach million of people just one click away. The scope and functionality of this app is unbelievable, that’s why more and more people is trying to create the perfect feed and stand up from the rest in order to reach a niche, and establish their own brand.

Quite often I hear people say that for create the perfect feed you need to have a team of experts behind you, and even though it’s true that many brands and people in this business have at their disposal a team of photographers and designers, the reality is that create a perfect feed doesn’t require a big budget or being an expert, the most important here is be creative and use the tools that we have at our disposition for our benefit .

My beginnings as a blogger started at the end of 2016, and since then I have been in charge of everything you see on my blog and Instagram, that’s why today I want to share with you 7 of my favorite free apps for Instagram feed.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC

Probably the most common question for many is “how to edit my pictures?” Luckily, for us there are many options for beginners when it comes to apps that help us to edit our pictures as an expert.

Lightroom is one of my favorite apps at the moment. This is a free professional photo editor developed by Adobe Photoshop, and although the app is free to access premium features you need to pay $ 4.99 monthly.

Lightroom was designed for people who are just starting out in the photo editing, and want quality results, easily and quickly. What I like most about this app is that it is very intuitive and easy to use.

Via Foodie

Another app that I love to use for edit my photos is Foodie. As its name says this tool was originally designed to edit photos of food, but you can use it with other type of pictures as well. It’s filters were created to highlight different colors and textures, so it may be the ideal option for Instagram bloggers who tend to share with their followers pictures of delicious dishes.

Additionally,  as all the functions of this app were designed specifically for the modern sociable foodie, we can find quality live filters for photos that are very intuitive and help us to create a colorfully content.

Via Planoly

The key to have a graceful and visually beautiful feed lies in planning your content before pushing it live. I  found this app a few weeks ago, and so far I love it. Planoly allows you to see how your feed will look like with certain pictures or videos before even posting it.

Additionally, it helps you to plan  your Instagram stories, photos, and videos thanks to its scheduling option. This app  allows you to organize your content days, weeks, or even months in advance, in order to get the best results, and see if the combination of colors or type of content you have created will look the way you want compared to your previous Instagram posts.

Among its other features we can highlight that Planoly let you upload diverse photos and videos directly from your laptop, Dropbox, Google Drive, and phone. Manage multiple Instagram accounts, and finally it let  you see on the calendar what scheduled posts you have coming up.

Since my beginnings managing social networks in a work environment I have been using Hootsuite, and even though today we can find a large range of apps that offer exactly the same features, I still believe that Hootsuite is one of the best because is intuitive and friendly to use.

Its free option offer you to manage 3 social network accounts. Hootsuite also allows you to schedule, publish and share content in all your social media at once, monitor your brand, and organize your content before publishing it. As its description says this app it’s simple, efficient, and powerful.

Probably one of the most common problems that content creators face on Instagram is finding the right hashtags in order to get a better reach and performance. Focalmark is an app that promises to make your life easier in this regard.  Its algorithm filters through thousands of hand-collected hashtags for each category of photography based on the information that you provide, and in the end, Focalmark gives you 30 hashtags that are appropriate for your target audience.

This app literally saves you the time of searching for particular hashtags, and at the end the only thing you need to do is copy and paste them into your post.

Via InShot

Another way to reach more people on Instagram is through videos, and if you are not skilled with programs like Adobe Premiere, but at the same time you’re seeking an easy and intuitive program to edit your videos without losing your mind, InShot could be what you are looking for.

This app is a favorite among many beginners because it offers a high quality result and its download is free, but like many other apps, InShot offers in-app purchases for additional functions.
